Gorgeous Malcolm, beautiful boat. Love the deck pattern, in fact, I'm doing something similar on my Cirrus (but with fir) . I think the pinstripe look is classy and you did a fabulous job of it. I also think the pine/cedar combo is hard to beat. Great contrast. Nice tribute to your grandfather, and I'm sure he would have been proud, as will all others who catch a glimpse. Are there other strip kayaks around or do you have one of the only ones? Must be great to paddle in paradise. Enjoy.
