Any thoughts on whether I do a precoat before filling some minor cracks and spaces, or fill and then precoat?
I have few small spots and a couple long thin spaces between strips. Really, I'm proud of the lack of holes and such for a first "real" woodworking project. I just have a few that I'd like to fill in. I'm planning on using some thickened epoxy and trying to match color (unless someone really thinks this is a bad idea). Of course that would be easier to do after a precoat. For the most part, my boat is fair and smooth at this point, I'm just trying to clean it up a little before glassing.
Thanks for the help and inspiration so far - I would have given up in despair last summer!
