I built Rob's Shooting Star and would echo comments on the clarity of Rob's instructions. He makes it pretty clear that some things should be done a certain way - which is pretty useful. There were several steps I was sure weren't going to work the way he described, but they did (ie. striking glued forms to remove them). Listen closely to his heat gun advice. It will save you much angst. I read Rob's directions reasonably carefully, but there were still several places where I simply couldn't figure out what he was talking about. Funny thing was that once I saw the boat at that stage of construction, I knew exactly what he meant.
