Glad to hear that we converted you and Erik to press on. I had a little movement of the strips off the forms as well because of going stapleless.

Something that might help is to take little 3 x 3 pieces of wood (helpers), maybe 3/8 or so thick and hot glue them to the strips next to the forms. Then pull strip in to touch the form and run a screw thru the "helper" and into the form to help keep it in place. If you need extra persuasion, put a screw into the helper and one into the form and use a clamp to draw it in. Most forms had 4 to 6 helpers on them. Round 1 side of the helper as to fit the inside shape of the hull and don't use too much hot glue. A couple dabs'l do you. I kept these helpers on until I glassed the outside if the hull. Hope this helps you to improve your shape.
