I used a lot of hot glue on my Sea Spirit 17 as some of the strips had some difficult bends. After I had the difficult strips surrounded by other strips, I removed some of the hot glue just in case it would cause trouble when it was time to separate the deck. I'm glad I did that, as I had a tough time in some places to separate the deck. In some cases, I had to get inside the coaming opening and cut away some of the forms from the underside of the deck during separation.
