I'd suggest waiting until you join the deck and glass and feather your exterior seams.

Then rough sand the whole boat. Any place you see glass weave stop! sanding and move on.

Then coat the whole boat with two more coats of resin. Then you can start sanding this with
120 grit because the surface will be very smooth. You'll save time, and you'll be certain you will not
sand into the glass.
