Tools are an investment, Good tools last forever, and yes they actually cut better, like an expensive car, they perform better, and last longer...
However... not everybody is driving a Mercedes/Porche/ etc.
most people that have "Black & Decker" tools never ware them out... they don't use them enough to run then into dust.
I spend what I have to on the tools that will get used a lot, not so much on tools that I don't depend on, tools that I'm not sure of I start with cheep ones and upgrade tools that become essential to me.
