Better saws make easier, better, more accurate cuts and can last a lifetime. The one I use right now is a dewalt that cost around $200. If I had plenty of money I'd buy a Rockwell 548 bayonet saw. My dad has had one of that type for more than 45 years that I can remember...and it still works great. I think the Rockwell 548 costs about $400. I believe you should get the best tools you can afford. You can get a pretty good sabre saw for around $100 on up.
