I agree with many of the other posts. I use my jigsaw nearly everyday (finish carpenter for 25 years). In my opinion, without a question, Bosch has the best saw. Although there are others that come close. The one most important item to look for on a jigsaw is the blade guide, don't buy a cheaper one without it. The guide helps tremendously to keep the blade from wandering. Buy whatever saw you can afford but do yourself a favor and make sure it has the blade guide.
