I am seeking a lighter boat so that my girlfriend who weighs around 50 kgs is able to paddle with me. It would also be nice for solo car topping. I can manage the West River with a bit of a struggle but I am nervous about the nice shiny roof of my subaru.
Does anyone have any recomendations for a light boat design that will go nicely with My WR162?
I paddle mainly on the Murray River in Australia. It is highly regulated in the section which I live near and Tourist Paddle Steamers create the biggest waves we see. I would like the options of paddling the boat in the sea while on holidays and being able to pack a bit of gear in it for a short trip though.
