: Has anyone tried using double sticky carpet tape to attach foam seats?

Yes, I gave it a try and lost the seat on a drive home. I should have used a cockpit cover. Maybe more tape would have held the seat securely. The tape did hold for a couple of months. But luckily it was on the way home and not on the way to the launch. I used 2 12-inch long strips. The tape/seat connection failed.

For my new foam seat I plan to use contact cement.
