Tools: ROS & grinding off glass

On the way home last night, I stopped at Home Depot and picked up a ROS. I got the Porter Cable 333. Also bought a package of 60 grit paper and the label specified "fiberglass" along with wood and metal. They didn't have a brand I was familiar with, like Norton, and I think this brand was something like "Ali-gator"???

Anyway, I set up a little test to see if my old rectangular sander or the new ROS would remove glass from my deck better. The old rectangular one won, and I've estimated that it will take about 8 hours to remove all the glass (at this point, I'm 2/3 done after about 5.5 hours. Jay had mentioned that it would take about 2 hours with a new ROS. But, I think it may have a lot to do with the paper I was using. So, for those who have grinded off lots of glass in the past, which paper should I be using in my new ROS?

Too many people have spoken too highly of the newer ROSs for me to think that the problem is anything but the paper I'm using with it.
