before you go and pat Nick on the back. I think it's because of Nick that I'm suffering from this boat building addiction. He gave it to me and now it's hopeless. It's all over. Now, all I can think about are kayaks and new and improved building methods. This BBS just makes everything worse. I constantly read about great new innovative ideas and feel compelled to try things for myself and report back to the rest of you whether I screwed up or it worked out perfectly. I just can't seem to shake it. This whole process is like an addictive drug, and Nick's the dealer.

Alright... enough. I too would truely like to thank you Nick for all you've done. Your designs are legendary. This forum is unmatched. There's just a great group of builders here discussing all aspects of our hobby and it's all because of Nick Schade. Thanks Nick.
