I used a quart to put three coats on a 14 foot kayak. Had a little left over. Use a foam brush. I used 4" brush on the hull (all open space) and a 2" brush on the deck (cockpits and hatches to get around). The best application container is one of those square Glad or Ziplock food storage containers. Easy cleanup of brush and container with water. Square container is a lot easier than round to work with when you have a wide brush
Definitely follow Jim's advice about low tem and high humidity. Early morning is best..
