Yo James

I confess to using my newly aquired guillemot s&g building skills to make a minimax and a minimost 8ft long seaflea designs. I got the plans from www.svensons.com/boats. And even though it is not as eco friendly or relaxing as kayaking, I do confess to having a barrell of fun.

I used ply for the hulls, but practiced with a strip coaming for the minimax. I don't see why you couldn't strip one but it would be a trick because these designs rely on their shape from the torturing of ply and there are very few frames to strip from.

I will post a photo directly to you for your amusement.

If you snoop svensons.com/boats. Under minimax is a reference to Mikes Minimax site. If your seaflea was a minimax, that site will bring back plenty of memories.

Cheers Pete
