Hi There Malcolm,

: Congratulations! Gosh don't ya love the comments and looks?

Thanks, Yeah it was a big compliment and helped me look at the Cirrus with new eyes. I'm rather excited now to get her finished right and back on the water.

: So now you need to bring her down for a photo shoot.

Oh Man! I can only wish. I'd love to come down to USVI. My wife and I are actually planning a 22nd Ann. and are hoping to go to St. John. Maybe you could recommend and place to stay???

: I wish I could go to Newfound's shop.

I've always wanted to work in a setting like they have at Newfound. The shop is in an old red cow barn. They had been milling some cedar and the place smelled super. There setup is really nice and in a beautiful part of NH. Michael and crew were very friendly. I may build a hybrid next year and would do it with there CNC puzzle piece butt joint hull panels. Nice stuff.

I took the Cirrus out again this morning and am still thrilled. I've got a thing or two to learn about fitting this kayak to my body though. I did not get photos as it was raining again! Argh!

Best, Dave
