Strip: Joining halves/taping the seam

Hello everyone,
In Nick's book he says "now cut some glass cloth tape for the interior seam"...I'm assuming he means just use the glass cloth you've been using for the rest of the boat and saturate it in resin. Or is there some separate kind of glass cloth "tape"?
