: What weight glass are you using?

So far 4oz on the outer deck and just applied the 6oz on the outer hull. Planning on following Vaclav's suggestions pretty closely. Not sure whether to go with 4oz or 6oz on the "football" but I guess I will have to figure that out sometime today.

Then I will add some 6oz bias to the stern and bow stems for landings and dragging up onto the beach.

Actually my Seaward glass boat has a strip of nylon along the stern hull exactly where most of the wear and tear is when you pull a boat up onto the beach. I may add that piece after all of the varnishing.
