I only have experience with Laughing Loon. I built the Panache & really like it. Rob Macks provides very good plans & has won several awards for his designs. I'm still somewhat of a novice paddler, but I've easily grown a custom to this boat! Beautiful lines, lots of storage. I really like the way the conmbings are made even though they are somewhat tedious to build if you don't have any experience. Despite my lack of same, I believe I did quite well on mine!
