On my Cirrus hybrid, I used 2 layers 6 oz. on the outside, one layer over the entire outer hull and one layer on the football extending 2 inches up from the chine line. 6 oz on the inside of the hull and 4 oz s glass on the outside and inside of the deck with carbon reinforcement around the cockpit. All up, with hardware, seat, etc. it weighs 42 lbs. I think I could have built it lighter with the 3mm okoume deck instead of the strips.
