: Looking to build a stripper- I'm 6'- 200- experianced whitewater paddler-
: have some boatbuilding exp.- drift boat. I want a high performance kayak I
: can take for a few days if I want but still fun for everyday
: paddling-surfing. I wasn't pleased at all with the plans or support with
: my driftboat so I'm looking for some advice. I've been impressed with
: One-ocean, Guillemot, Laughing Loon. Thanx for any help
I have not done ww but looks like they have lots of fun, in that mode I feel you should look for a design that the designers have stress handleing over tracking. I can ajust our Guillent standard to track better then remove them and it is a blast in the surf. The only thing you may need to get a plastic for rocks or build a true surf yak. Some of the guys and gals in So Cal use their ww in the surf and rocks. I use the G17 in only sandy beaches.
