Great boat - great kit *LINK*

I built an Osprey Std. this spring. Not a lot of time in the water yet, but so far it's better than I imagined. Building from their kits isn't so much carpentry as assembly - there aren't a lot of woodworking places to mess up. Working with fiberglass and epoxy is the new experience part of this. There's a few tricks there, but none more important than work with small batches.

If you've not seen it yet, there's a web-building journal of some of their kits that shows all of the processes. The link is at the bottom of the 'what's new' page of the Pygmy web site. The Osprey building journal is particularly detailed. The other models build about the same way. Helped to ease my fears when I started looking.

IMHO, you can't go wrong with a Pygmy kit. And the folks here are always very helpful. Just for kicks, I've added a link to my launch-day pics.
