interesting 2nd part of your response and you would know WAY more than i about what it's all about

but look at the characteristics of the reflection below the yak both front and rear. they are quite different.
disregarding apparent rocker as one has no idea of how it is really resting - it still looks to me as if the bow is way way more abrupt than the stern. i wonder if really removing this difference would help.
