Hi Guy's,

Just to add a little... I now have used both 8oz. nylon and 9oz. Poly. The weave on the nylon is larger ever so slightly. I think the reason epoxy did not work well for Sing is due to the coating already applied to the surface. Epoxy doesn't like surfaces coated with other materials when you don't prep them properly. I have found sanding skin boats difficult at best and I would be surprised if you could properly prep the surface for a mechanical bond. When Jay applied epoxy he got a chemical bond directly to the fabric. I expect Jay will get many more years from his epoxy to that of my polyurethane coating.

I would have used epoxy if the cost was lower.
