There was a stiff breeze blowing across the lake; it had kicked up whitecaps that were lapping at my coaming on occasion. I must say the Cirrus is very stable and confidence inspiring but I imagine it's not the most nimble boat out there. That can be good and bad I guess. Cruising speed seemed very good and I was able to make very good time against the wind. It did feel a little "squirly" though with the wind at my back.
