Seems as though all the recent posts of completed kayaks really did motivate you huh? Surprise the kayak for your wife hasn't moved up on the "Honey Do List". Nice lines with the deck pattern as I remembered from prior posts. I had somewhat the same problem with deck widening and hull shrinkage. Surprising how workable the deck and hull are to bring it back in shape to match.

My Guillemot double is scheduled to hit the water next week. It's been a long four and a half months. But it will all be worth it. Now that summer is finally here in Michigan and my co-pilot wife Gail is continuing to improve from her stroke. I'm glad that I didn't have to call on the services of Shawn and his Mighty Chop Saw to convert it into a single.
