I read Cunningham's, Morris', Starr's and the book from some guy in Greenland. I am mixing the methods to give me what I believe will be the most durable and lasting construction. My method does however most resemble Cunningham's I just think his construction is more robust. I do not want to peg the gunnels s if I do not need to because I think they would retain more strength without the extra holes.
