Last week I found a link on this page that introduced me to using rails in front of the cockpit to tie shock cord to. Does anyone have any ideas or comments on this? I’m going to make mine 3/4" x 3/8” x 36” with slots every 2”, then I will put a 1/8” radius on all the edges, coat it with thinned out epoxy, epoxy it to my deck, and then slick an 1/8” thickened epoxy fillet around it. I will be making these tomorrow the 12th.
