I hope I can get the fit on these two pieces back that close. I did find out on my wifes yak that strapping them together and letting them sit in the hot (90 - 104 degrees) garage all day and night before taping them together helps with the fit.

As a side note - the USComposites glass and epoxy worked out just fine (thanks for the info on USC). Using slow hardener with 4oz glass - the wet-out was easy. Even with the foam, from working the epoxy too much, the wet-out is clear. I even pulled the epoxy, with all those tiny air bubbles in it, onto fresh glass and it worked out fine. All those little bubbles dissapated. I'm planning on using their products again on my daughters yak - probably next year. I hope to design that one myself. I've been studying the specs of various designs and playing with Ross' KF program. I'm thinking maybe something in the 18" x 17' range for her - we'll see how it goes.
