Thanks Chip,
I do like to share pictures of my experiences, not to show-off or anything, just to fish for more ideas. I really thought people would find interest in this deck construction method and fill me with more artistic thoughts. This kind of deck can be assembled in one evening, and a few follow up epoxy/glass sessions. It's simple. And unique. The only consequence that I see is weight.

Doesn't anyone care to share their ideas on this? What about for a S&G deck? Who likes cork? Foam? Leaves? Bamboo? Anything.

Wood strips are still my favorite deck, but they do take longer to build and my Cirrus is in dire need of more attention. Here's where it's at:
