Ice water not needed - warm instead

In Response To: Epoxy: End Pour Info Needed (Dave Sprygada)

The water acts as a heat sink. It absorbs any heat generated by the epoxy. The water in a bucket may rise a degree or two because of the epoxy reaction, but it won't get too much hotter. If you start with warm water, it may get slightly warmer, but not much. Ice water would slow the process down more than you would probably want.
