Thursday 5 june, the eight kayaks that have been built in the study circle was inaugurated and launched with a little ceremony. TV and a local newspaper was there and it rendered three minutes in TV and a full page in the paper.
The eight builders has done a very good work, the first strips was laid about dec 20 and the kayaks was finished in early may.
Of course they have tried the kayaks in the water before this event and all builders are very happy with their kayaks. One of them phoned me late one evening and was almost "high". He had been out paddling a kayak for the first time ever and that in a kayak made by himself.
I have names on the list so I can run at least three more circles. Maybe next circle will be for female builders only.
