Congratulations to you and your study circle on eight beautiful boats. I particularly like the item about the person who was paddling their first time and doing it in the kayak they built themselves. That is just great. Sounds like you have a full schedule for more study groups. I would love to be a part of a group like that. This forum is the closest I have come to it and it is serving me well.

: Of course they have tried the kayaks in the water before this event and all
: builders are very happy with their kayaks. One of them phoned me late one
: evening and was almost "high". He had been out paddling a kayak
: for the first time ever and that in a kayak made by himself.
