: I am ready to glass the inside of my hull. My internal stem pieces project
: into the boat about 1/4". Should I blend them in with a fillet or cut
: the glass so it wraps around them?
I didn't bother to glass over my internal stems where they project above the strips. I just cut the glass to lay flat alongside the stems. I have an external stem that mates up perfectly to the internal (bent & laminated at the same time), and on the outside stem I folded the glass over from each side, then added a bias-cut strip on top of that, so there are three layers of glass over the outer stem. With all that protection on the outer, I figured glassing over the internal stem was not necessary, structurally.
