I was sorry not to make it the the meet this year...family commitments. Ever been to a 13year old's Bat Mitzva? what a party...thy musta spent 20-30 grand but definately not my taste!

I finally finished the bluefin and tried it...I liked it, paddles fast and with out fuss, rolls great (for me a Novice roller) and has good secondary stability. I am happy with the lines of this stitch and glue boat, looks good to my eye. Have to relocate the bulkheads for more storage space and maybe a day hatch.

The detail is veneer edgebanding cut into triangles and ironed on...birch and walnut. I did an Osprey inlay on the deck.

I hope the weather stays nice so I can use it a little before the snow flies again. The kids are paddling their own boats so I get to be in the single again...Yahooooo!
