When I made my AT17, I mis-cut my glass (actually both times, inside & out -- I think because I wanted to make sure I cut large enough, but then the remainder was insufficient to flip around for opposite end.) An obsessive novice, I just ordered more glass from Pygmy. This was completely silly.
On the plus side, the left over cloth is handy for boat repairs giving new life to shredded hockey sticks.
: Hi,
: I have a question about fiberglassing. So, yesterday afternoon I prep'd for
: glassing the outside hull on my Osprey Double...the boat barely fits in my
: work space and working on the bow and stern is difficult. Long story short
: and many excuses later I ended up incorrectly cutting the fiberglass to
: fit one side of the bow perfectly.
