That would definitely be a concern. I plan to make a homemade skirt with an accessible grab loop. I wasn't aware (I'm a beginner at building and paddling both) that anyone tucked their grab loops under. If that was the case this could pose some problems.
I am concerned about how much room too leave between the vertical riser and the coaming lip to allow the skirt to go on and be pulled off. Too much is probably better than too little. Thanks for your comments.
