On my Cirrus, which has a pronounced peak at both the bow and stern, I'm using 2 padeyes on either side. I'll run my deck lines through toggles I've carved, through the bow/stern padeyes, down the shear and will join them in front of (bow line) and behind (stern line) the cockpit. I'll leave a little slack in the line so there will be room to grip for carrying, but I'll tension the line with a bungie to keep the toggles from bouncing around.
