Thats the downside. You would have to have access to a quality air compressor and a top quality spray gun with all of the appropriate in line driers and water traps. My brother-in-law is a master Mercedes Benz painter at a dealership in town and volunteered his time and he used leftover materials.The owner of the dealership was very intrigued with the whole thing and let him use the high-tech paint booth and the oven.This type of finish can be applied using an HVLP system. I am not sure, but I believe this is the type of system he said they use,albiet more sophisticated than, say, a wagner from HD. He also said that with appropriate storage this finish would easily last 20 years with little or no loss of UV protection.
