There is a source in Portland with a decent supply of "pattern grade" Honduras Mahogany. I've used this in my guitars and the ribbon striped figure is awesome.

Has anybody used mahogany for Greenland paddles? How does it hold up?

I'd imagine it's more durable than WRC but maybe a bit heavier.
