Well I finally got the hull and deck of my guillemot joined together. It looks like a boat now. I used a strap wrapped around a big screwdriver to squeeeze the two halfs together and then taped it with packing tape. My problem is the tape slipped just a little. I now have about a 1/16 inch gap between the halfs (just enough to see light through). Has this happened to anyone else? What did you do to fix the problem?
