Ask Sage this question. I gave him a GP and a storm paddle I made out of mahogany a while back, epoxy coated, 3 oz triaxial glass on the edges. It's a bit heavier then WRC, works real nice, takes epoxy well as well as adhesives like Gorilla glue. Hope this helps.
