And back is really where you want it most. Front is nice, too. I'm tall. I like low foredecks now. You get used to smaller boats and really get to liking them.

I'm with you!!! Strips might add another 3 hours of stripping and an hour of glassing, and a 1/2 hour of sanding. All well worth the final weight and space savings.

I think it would be easier to install and release your skirt with a sloped recess or downturn instead of going straight vertical. Just a safety thought.
