I wish the coaming was carbon fiber! It is a stacked ply coaming painted black. I painted it because the final ring cracked while being glued overnight.
Nothing a bit of thickened epoxy and a coat of paint couldn't hide though.

Its a pretty roomy boat and I look forward to taking it camping one day when the weather warms up and I have built another to take a friend.
