I always use spreader sticks to hold the hull to the proper shape while any epoxy, both saturation and fill coats, inside and out, are curing. The hull tends to distort if this isn't done. I remove the spreader sticks while applying the fiberglass/epoxy on the inside....then replace them after the fiberglass is saturated. I still have plenty of room for the squeegee work.
