I would also like to thank Bill Price for sharing his experience with Heat-N-Bond tape. It does work. A 12" wide strip of nylon was nearly impossible to pull off a 2X6 with a piece of the 3/4" tape. It will peel off, but not in the direction the skin is getting stretched around a kayak. This is my second exposure to this miraculous material and found out on the Fat Boy that just using it along the keel, helps alot because you're only stretching the fabric for half of the boat. The model posted above is done "stapleless" with tape on the keel and the sheer stringers. Thanks again Bill.
