Strip: Hatch hold downs

I

Ive been building a Georgian Bay and trying to fiqure out which hold downs to use for the hatches. Internal, external, with 1" strap or bungie? Whats the latest thinking? I know everyone must be tired of the discussion but I just wanted to see if there was anything new.
