thanks that is a very nice compliment.

If I did it again:

1) do not use packing tape to keep drips from getting on the wood.. getting the residue off was ugly

2) Ensure you have enough knee room, you may need an extra station. I'm 6ft 3inches, and another 1inch of knee space would be a world more comfy.

3) I decided I should have pre-coated the hull, both sides prior to stripping the deck. but I cant remember why. Not doing so saved my butt latter, as my deck spread ou when onlly the out side was glassed for a mth. I ppushed the hull out to match ( which may explain the knee room issue a bit)

over all I'm pretty happy with it, but have nothing to compare it to, and no real kayaking experience yet
