After reading Nick's book a couple times and searching this forum the last two weeks, I ordered plans for Great Auk. Plan to paddle on the Texas coast between Galveston and Corpus Christi, but I live in Central Texas. Are there other members here from Texas? Anyone know where I can find some Texas cypress for strips? Any precautions or advice from you builders would be appreciated before I start. Thanks, Glen Longino
