If you're building covers that are not flush, internal bungees are the way to go! They hold great & eliminate the need for careful deck strap installations. You can fine-tune tension by reelocating nots in ends of cord. Boat lines look much cleaner too! I built Rob's Panache & am glad I found about internal bungees from this forum. THry take up a very small amoutn of room inside & if done right, shouldn't affect size of equipment that can be put thru openings.
